ABOUT

Charles Russell was born in 1944 in Merkel, Texas, a small West Texas town of less than 3,000. After graduating from college, he taught and coached football for 12 years in several different towns, before going into school administration. He was a high school principal for eight years and the last 12 years of his career was a school superintendent. He and his wife Patricia have been married for 51 years and live in Potosi, Texas.
